Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods (AS and VMs) were called compliance documents. Some still have the “compliance document” title but the AS or VMs they contain are valid and unaffected by the name change.

All of the Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods relating to G5 are contained in one document.

G5/AS1 This provides design solutions for acceptable heating levels in certain habitable spaces.  It gives a method to determine heating requirements, accounting for local climate and external walls.  It gives minimum dimensions for living and dining space in old people’s homes.  Space requirements for people with disabilities follow NZS 4121.
