Regulation 19 links to Schedule 2 of the Regulations, which sets out the fees payable for accreditation assessments.

The objective of the regulation

Regulation 19 of the Building (Accreditation of State agreement) Regulations 2006 (the Regulations) links to Schedule 2 of the Regulations, which sets out the fees payable for accreditation assessments.

The regulatory guidance below has been developed to support understanding of the Regulations.

MBIE’s guidance on meeting the accreditation requirement

The accreditation body will provide all applicants, accredited organisations and building consent authorities (BCAs) with a fee estimate before it begins an assessment. A detailed invoice will be provided upon completion of an assessment and receipt of a determination stating whether accreditation has been granted or declined.
